As you know, I have collected orange flavored soda bottles for a long time, and became enamoured with Orange-Crush along the way.  Eventually that led to my 'specialization' in Orange-Crush bottles, from which arose the  publication of the only book on the history

or Orange-Crush and a description of the company's classic bottle.  The 1st. ed. of  'Krinkly' to 'Mae West,'  arrived in July, 2008.

and sold out.

The effect of this book was to bring many persons - collectors and non-collectors, 'out of the closet' and 

I was flooded with more and more information and  material.  So I put it all together, over two years, and came out with 

the 2nd. ed. of 'Krinkly' to 'Mae West', going from 171 to 275 pages - an increase of 60%  - information and pictures! 

Included in the new edition is an almost complete reorganization and expansion of the material in each chapter.

 In addition,  there is a tremendous increase in the number and quality of photographs. As well new chapters- 

the 'Crown Caps of Orange-Crush' and  'Collectors and Their Collections.'

Not only does this take a lot of time, consultation, criticism etc. etc., but money.  It is not inexpensive to

do this book, especially when 161 of the 275 pages have color on them.  I tried it in black and white, but it 

just doesn't do the subject justice. 

 With the 1st. ed., I just covered the cost of printing the book + postage/tax/envelop.  I printed only

52 copies and they sold immediately.  This conveying of years experience and gathering of information was not meant

to fund my retirement. I wanted to provide fellow collectors of soda pop, information and experience which I have

gathered together over the past 20 years - and cover my costs.

I enclose pictures of the new cover, and some representative pages from the new edition. The book itself will be ready near

 the end of February, 2011.
